BLM Uintah Basin Announcements

The Bureau of Land Management has made several recent announcements related to energy projects in the Uintah Basin. First, the BLM Vernal Field Office approved gas wells and associated infrastructure for Anaschutz Exploration Corporation in Uintah County. The project location is on BLM-administered lands approximately 52 miles south of Vernal. Second, the BLM Vernal Field Office finalized the Environmental Assessment (EA) for Scout Energy’s well pad expansion in Duchesne County about 8 miles southeast of Myton. And third, the BLM announced that Finley Resources’ application for a right-of-way to construct and operate a pipeline corridor to support an existing well in Uintah County was approved.
