The new members of the Uintah School Board were sworn in Monday morning. Judge McClellan performed the swearing in ceremony of Kevin Dickson, Sarah Lamb, and Kurt Case at the Uintah School District Office.

Vernal Preparedness Expo to Help Local Family

Vernal Regional Airport Projects Update
Work continues to progress at the Vernal Regional Airport. The earthwork and drainage project is complete, shares Executive Director for the Uintah Transportation Special Service District Adam Massey, and about 3 weeks of work were put in on the runway and taxiway project before being shut down for the winter.
Ice Fishing Tournament Postponed
The Steinaker Ice Fishing Tournament has been postponed. The tournament was scheduled for Monday but a lack of ice made it necessary to postpone the event.

UDOT Plans Added Lane on Highway 40 at McCoy Flats Turnoff

A Ballard man accused of killing his brother in 2015 entered a Guilty plea in 8th District Court this month. Craig Anthony Antonio was arrested on murder charges on April 17th, 2015 for the death of his 23-year-old brother.
