Roosevelt Police Chase Ends When Officer Uses Vehicle to Stop Stolen Truck
Quick thinking by Roosevelt City Police put an end to a dangerous car chase on Sunday evening. According to Roosevelt Police Chief Rick Harrison, an off duty Duchesne County Sheriff’s deputy was approached at about 7:00pm on Saturday by a man in Stewart’s Marketplace that stated his 1997 Mazda truck was being stolen from the parking lot.

Crews Begin Work on Vernal City Water Meter Upgrade Project
A work crew in grey t-shirts will be moving around Vernal City over the next several weeks as upgrades are made to the City’s water meters. According to City Treasurer Obern Mayes, these will not be Vernal City workers but the crew from the contracted company on the project.
