KNEU 1250The Uintah County Commission is supporting efforts to make improvements for visitors to Moonshine Arch. The Commission approved the purchase of two acres of land by the existing parking lot at the Moonshine Arch Trailhead during their Commission meeting last week.

The suspect in a fatal shooting over the weekend in Colorado’s Garfield County is in police custody. According to the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office, the victim and suspect were attending a Quinceanera on Saturday when the shooting occurred outside of Rifle just after midnight on Sunday.
