A tragic accident resulted in the death of a Roosevelt man on Saturday in Provo Canyon. Crews will continue to monitor a fire on the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation that reached 100 percent containment on Saturday. According to the Uintah and Ouray Wildland Fire program, the East Weaver Fire was called in on Thursday, located in the Hill Creek area southeast of Weaver Reservoir.

The vaccines available include Varicella, HPV, Dtap, Hep A, Polio, Hep B, and MMR.
Citizens of the Uintah Basin that enjoy the treat of seeing a river otter are asked to report the experience to biologists with the Department of Wildlife Resources. The DWR shares that in 1899, the Utah State Fish and Game Commission classified the otter as a rare species, and the state legislature protected them from harvest that same year.
