DWR: Last Chance Approaching for Deer and Elk Permits

The Division of Wildlife Resources is getting the word out. If you didn't draw a buck deer or bull elk permit during the hunt drawing earlier this year — and you're still interested in hunting deer or elk this fall — your chance to obtain a permit begins next week but make note: the sales dates for the permits have changed from past years.

NO Fireworks Anywhere in Unincorporated Uintah County

No fireworks are allowed in unincorporated Uintah County and the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office is sharing maps to clarify the boundaries. “With the extreme drought conditions we are facing in Uintah County and around the state, please take a minute to read and know what the firework and other fire restrictions are,” shares the Sheriff’s Office.
