Dinah “SOAR” Days Provides Economic Benefits to Community

Uintah County issued a press release on the event’s success emphasizing that the event offered economic benefits to the community. This was the 3rd annual Dinah “SOAR” Days and had 24 hot air balloons that flew over Vernal with pilots coming from all over the United States.

Local Young Man Saved From Fiery Crash in Miraculous Rescue

Rise in Car Burglaries in Roosevelt City

According to the Roosevelt Police Department there has been a major rise in car burglaries in Roosevelt City. Police Chief Rick Harrison states, "We're seeing a huge increase in car burglaries, sometimes as many as three in a night. Not break-ins, but we're seeing a lot of things stolen out of unlocked cars."
