Uintah Middle School is asking the community to please go through their closets and make a donation to their shoe drive wrapping up this week. Students were motivated by Brian Williams, the founder of the ‘Think Kindness’ non-profit, who put on a high-energy assembly that encouraged the students to do acts of kindness every day.

A mother and her 4-year-old son who were caught in a house fire have a fighting chance at life thanks to the selfless bravery of a passerby. The Wyoming Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office shared the inspiring details. 32-year-old Ryan Pasborg, of Green River, saw flames coming from the bedroom window of a home as he was running late to work on Tuesday morning at about 4:30am.
