In an alarming notice, Utah Wildfire Info shared this week that Utah has already seen 237 wildfires. Last year the state didn’t see 237 wildfires until well into July. Sadly 95% of the wildfires that have occurred this year have been human caused.

Duchesne County is adding some incentive to completing the 2020 Census. Residents that visit one of three county facilities and use one of the computers there to complete the Census will receive a prize.
Uintah County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the man who died in Sunday morning’s crash south of Fort Duchesne. The Sheriff’s Office shared Tuesday morning that 30-year-old Trevor Shane John of Randlett was killed in the accident while there is no update on the condition of the 19-year-old woman who was involved in the crash.
