KNEU 1250Anglers are being urged to keep any lake trout under 25 inches that are caught at Flaming Gorge, in an effort to improve the health of the fishery. According to a press release from the Division of Wildlife Resources, lake trout in Flaming Gorge larger than 25 inches primarily consume kokanee salmon and rainbow trout.
A Moffat County mother has been arrested in a child death investigation. The Moffat County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release on Friday stating that on March 11th, at about 8am the Sheriff’s Office was notified of a suspicious vehicle near county road 54 in unincorporated Moffat County.
While not all agree, schools will continue to require students to wear masks through this school year as mandated by the Utah Legislature. The statewide face mask mandate was lifted in Utah on Saturday, April 10th, prompting further conversation and resistance of continued mask use in schools.

In the spring of 2019, the last of the charges in 8th District Court filed against a Duchesne County man were dropped and now the man is seeking damages. Charges were filed in May of 2018 against 49-year-old Darin Ace Thomas including two 1st Degree Felony charges of Criminal Conspiracy, two 3rd Degree Felony charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, one 3rd Degree Felony charge of Criminal Conspiracy, and one Misdemeanor charge of Sexual Solicitation.
