KNEU 1250A scary situation thankfully had a positive ending on Wednesday in Rangely. Rangely Police Department called on the public for help finding a missing elderly woman named Joyce Fix around noon. Joyce had been reported as having wandered off from the intersection of West Bell and Morrison Wednesday morning and was considered at risk.
The FBI is warning that a serial bank robber has hit again. The suspect is a white male about 5 foot 7 inches tall. He has robbed three banks in the Salt Lake area, the first on October 26th, the second on December 12th, and the most recent on January 4th.
The Seven County Infrastructure Coalition Executive Director Mike McKee issued a statement on Tuesday regarding a decision made concerning the proposed Uinta Basin Railway. “I am pleased to announce that the Surface Transportation Board (STB) has preliminarily granted the Coalition’s Petition for Exemption to construct and operate the railway, subject to completion of the environmental review process.

As of yesterday, Union High School is the new Uintah Basin site for the free COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Testing. The Utah Department of Health announced that this testing would be available at locations throughout the state and Union High was selected as the best location for northeastern Utah.
It’s official. Todd Massey and Tawnya McKee have been sworn in as the new Uintah School Board members. 8th District Court Judge Clark McClellan performed the ceremony during a special meeting of the Uintah School Board on Monday evening. Tawnya McKee is serving as the board representative over Uintah School Board District #4.
