A Uintah County woman has been charged with felony child abuse of an infant under 1 year of age. The charge of child abuse was filed on January 11th against 21-year-old Gracelynn Rae Yazzie citing a January 5th incident. The 2nd degree felony child abuse charge is stated to have inflicted serious physical injury intentionally. According to the Probable Cause Statement, Yazzie was the adult caregiver to a child under the age of 1 when “the child was seriously burned on his legs and feet.
