A Vernal man facing charges including child sexual abuse has been scheduled for a jury trial. 31-year-old Jose Luis Solis pleaded Not Guilty to one count of 1st Degree Felony Aggravated Sexual Abuse of a Child and six other charges for incidents that occurred in Vernal City earlier this year.
Work is underway on road improvements in Roosevelt City’s industrial park on the west side of town. According to Roosevelt City Manager Ryan Snow, Mountainland Road and the surrounding streets were paved this week as part of the upgrade effort.
