Repairs Planned for Aggie Blvd

The Uintah Transportation Special Service District has been reviewing bids for repair on a section of Aggie Blvd near the college campuses. According Chairman of the Uintah Transportation Special Service District Duane Shepherd, cracks in the road north of the Aggie bull statue were spotted, indicating water leaking beneath the roadway.

10th Circuit Court Overturns Lower Ruling

Frustration is clear in a 10th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling on Tuesday which reverses District Judge Bruce Jenkins’ dismissal of the lawsuit that the Ute Tribe had filed against Myton City and even reassigns the jurisdiction dispute to a new judge.

Red Fleet Renovation

Red Fleet State Park will be getting a facelift next year thanks to a grant from the State Parks. According to Park Manager Mike Murray, a 2 million dollar grant will be used for the renovation effort that is scheduled to begin construction next spring.

Congressman Bishop Hosting Town Hall Meetings

Congressman Bishop began his series of town hall meetings in Weber County last week and will wrap up his 10 county journey with meetings in all three Uintah Basin counties this Saturday, August 13th.
