KNEU 1250A group of graduating seniors took a walk down memory lane to Davis Elementary on Monday ready to dig up memories. The group of about 25 seniors attended Davis Elementary School during their 5th grade year and had buried a time capsule full of memorabilia.
A free community event is celebrating a local hobby and all are invited. A celebration of biking and family fun, NUMBFest 2017 is being held at McCoy Flats this Saturday, May 27th from 9am to 3pm. NUMB, standing for the Northeastern Utah Mountain Bikers, hosts the event as their annual fundraiser to support infrastructure and needs of local trails.
Attending the annual Jones Hole Hatchery Fishing Day is a tradition for many Basin families but the fun is being shifted to another location for this year’s free fishing celebration on June 10th. According to the Division of Wildlife Resources, the event has been moved to Matt Warner Reservoir due to increasing threats from invasive New Zealand mud snails at the Jones Hole Fish Hatchery.

Names have been released of the two men killed in a head on collision on Tuesday afternoon. The accident occurred on Highway 13, eleven miles north of Rifle. Traffic was delayed for over 6 hours during the investigation and cleanup.
