Alcohol was a factor in a head on fatal crash on I-70 Sunday night caused by a Roosevelt woman. According to the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office, 35-year-old Travis Kirk Cook and 29-year-old Shalae Jensen Cook are facing charges after detectives searched their home and located a cache of stolen antiques and memorabilia.
The Mill Creek Fire near Hayden, Colorado is slowly working toward containment. The fire was reportedly started on Saturday by an individual building a fire line with a bulldozer. The fire sparked and quickly spread and the bulldozer was destroyed.

A shooting incident took place on Yampa Avenue in Craig on Monday morning. According to Craig Police, a person was shot at while in a vehicle at the intersection of Yampa and 8th.
